Things I learnt from this Challenge

  • Always keep your characters and environment moving; it can throw the boards off if something is copied and pasted or is too still while the focal character is moving around.

  • BE MORE LOOSE! These boards are a good start, but I found myself tensing up when I got 8 or so boards in. Remember to relax and focus on gesture and clarity.

  • Don't be afraid to put more comedy in your work, even if the genre is more serious.

  •  REMEMBER your framing/composition! I kept running into the issue that my shots were getting too squashed when I put the cinematic border on.

  • Final Note: Overall, it was a fun exercise, and it pushed me out of my comfort zone in many artistic areas, and I am happy with the final product.
